Facilities

The Wichita Sports Commission values our local venue and facility owners and works closely with them in pursuing events for our community. When planning or promoting amateur and professional sporting events and organizations, we support these Wichita area facilities:

Riverfront Stadium

Riverfront Stadium

The Riverfront Stadium, an $80 million baseball stadium located west of the Arkansas River across from Downtown Wichita was built in 2020 for the Wichita Wind Surge Double-A baseball team. With a stadium capacity of 10,000+ it also serves as a multi-purpose facility with the ability to host baseball games, soccer games, football games, concerts, festivals, and events with first-class facilities for the players and staff.

Genesis Sports Complex

Genesis Sports Complex

Located west of Wichita in Goddard, Kansas, Genesis Sports Complex offers 5 turf fields and contains an 82,000 square foot natatorium that will have a 25 meter, 10-lane pool, a warm-up pool and hot tub and 600 seats for spectators.

Stryker Sports Complex

Stryker Sports Complex

The refurbished Stryker Sports Complex opened in 2019 with much excitement about the opportunities that are available because of the quality and size of the complex, which boasts 11 all-sports turf fields (each with outdoor lighting) and a 112,000 square foot indoor facility designed to attract events and all levels of competition to Wichita.

Intrust Bank Arena

INTRUST Bank Arena

Located in Downtown Wichita, INTRUST Bank Arena opened in 2004 and boasts 22 suites, 40 loge boxes, and 300 premium seats with a total 15,000-seat capacity. The industry’s best acoustics and systems are featured for top-notch sporting events, concerts, and entertainment.

Hartman Arena

Hartman Arena

Located north of Wichita in Park City, Kansas, Hartman Arena is a 6,500 seat, multi-purpose facility with 15 acres of on-site parking. Sporting events allow for 5,000 seats and the arena features wide concourses and ample restrooms.

Kansas Star Event Center

Kansas Star Event Center

The Kansas Star Event Center is located south of Wichita in Mulvane, Kansas, and features a venue for lots of entertainment and sporting events!

West Urban

Westurban

Westurban Baseball is a 501c3 non-profit league and a complex dedicated to youth baseball. It consists of eleven diamonds with a full service concession and lobby, which comprise nearly 40 acres of the Sedgwick County Park Complex in Wichita Kansas.

Two Rivers Youth Complex

Two Rivers Youth Complex

The non-profit organization located in west Wichita at Sedgwick County Sports Complex, oversees and organizes the league’s fast pitch softball games and tournaments each year which are run by volunteers. Events held at the complex include AYSO soccer, TRYC Softball, and West Urban baseball.

Wichita Sports Forum

Wichita Sports Forum

Wichita Sports Forum in east Wichita boasts 148,000 square feet of premier multi-sport, convention and private event space. The Forum features basketball courts, hardwood and sand volleyball courts, batting cages, and a regulation-size turf infield.

Wichita Hoops

Wichita Hoops

Wichita Hoops opened in November of 2014 and has grown to offer 113,000 sq feet of space, which includes 12 full-size hardwood basketball courts and 14 volleyball courts. The space features a viewing mezzanine, state-of-the-art coach’s room, and two concessions stands.

These expanded projects will enhance the quality of life in our community, while also allowing us to grow our share of the national tourism industry, just as the successful INTRUST Bank Arena has done. We look forward to the continued growth and developments for sports facilities in Wichita!
